A robot is a machine designed to perform specific tasks. Robots are able to perform complex and repetitive tasks faster and more accurately than humans.
Robots are increasingly used in manufacturing, assembly, packaging and delivery processes in factories around the world. They are often used in manufacturing environments, but also in healthcare, agriculture, automotive and many other industries. For example, hospitals use robots to help with surgery and rehabilitationand schools use them to teach children.
Robots come in all shapes and sizes, from the smallest ones that fit in the palm of your hand to the big ones the size of a car. Some robots even look like humans or animals. But they all have one thing in common: they are designed to make our lives easier.
So how do they work? Well, it depends on the type of robot. Some use sensors to detect their environment, then follow the programmed instructions. Others use algorithms machine learning to determine the best way to accomplish their task.
Simply put, AI is the process of creating a computer system able to learn and function on their own. This can be done by a number of methods, including but not limited to:
- Machine learning algorithms: these are algorithms that allow a computer system toautomatically improve performance on a task over time.
- deep learning or deep learning : it is a subset of machine learning that uses very large neural networks (networks of interconnected processing nodes) to learn from data in an unsupervised manner.
- Natural language processing: this involves teaching computers to understand human language and react in a natural way for humans.
Concretely, AI applications can be deployed in a wide range of areas, including medical diagnosis, stock trading, robot control, legal and many others. AI technology is also increasingly being used to improve the capabilities of existing products and services such as search engines, social networks and fraud detection systems.
So far, AI has made impressive progress. There are now AI systems that can beat humans at certain tasks, like playing chess or Go. But there’s still a long way to go before AI can truly match or surpass human intelligence.
