Air Liquide, Enedis, Inventec, Lacroix, Legrand, Schneider Electric, Soitec, STMicroelectronics, Valeo and Wûrth Elektronik will be the guests of the JTE 2023 which will take place in Paris on January 26, 2023 on the theme of electronics and sustainable development.
“French electronics, accelerator of sustainable development”this is the theme chosen by Acsiel Alliance Electronique for the2023 edition of the JTE (Electronics Technical Day), the unmissable event for the French electronics industry that the professional union created about 10 years ago and is organizing for the first time this year in partnership with ViPress.
For its face-to-face return, the event will take place on January 26, 2023 at Espace Saint Martin in Paris and will bring together a cast of prestigious speakers since the companies Air Liquide, Enedis, Inventec, Lacroix, Legrand, Schneider Electric, Soitec, STMicroelectronics, Valeo and Würth Elektronik answered present and will bring their testimonies.
For those who still doubted it, “sustainable development is no longer a fad or marketing communication, it is now a necessity for manufacturers”, to use the words of Jean-Marc Chéry, CEO of STMicroelectronics, pronounced during the “CEO roundtable” which took place last Monday in Munich, in the preamble to the Electronica trade show.
It must be said that the Covid-19 crisis first and the Ukrainian crisis then highlighted France’s (too) great dependence on foreign countries in the health and energy sectors, without forgetting – and this is undoubtedly where the impact is greatest – the consequences that this entails on many other industrial sectors (automotive, transport, agri-food, construction, etc.), in short on the whole economy of our country and , at the end of the chain, on our daily life.
Sustainable development, which relies on economic development while taking environmental and social aspects into account, is undoubtedly an effective response to this challenge. Reducing energy consumption, limiting the impact of industrial production on the environment, responsible reindustrialization in our territory, or even refocusing the economy on people, which are all pillars of development sustainable, are potentially able to enable our economy to absorb the jolts of this type of crisis more effectively.
As such, the role of electronics players is major because it is twofold. First of all thanks to innovation, by proposing solutions working for sustainable development. Then by applying a sustainable development policy to themselves to make electronics a more eco-responsible industry.
It is this dual role of electronics players that will structure the next edition of the JTE, which will revolve around two round tables. The first round tabletitled “Innovation, driving force for energy sobriety and sustainable development”will highlight how OEMs in different industries are implementing their sustainability strategy and how the latest innovations in electronics are helping them do so. About the second round table titled “Electronics, an eco-responsible economy”it will focus on the actions implemented by the major electronics players to make this industry eco-responsible.
The event, which will end with a lunch cocktail, will also include an exhibition space where various electronics players will present their solutions.
